Service parts where and when you need them
Grundfos products are subject to wear and therefore we have defined service parts by product. By doing that our customers can prevent inconvenient and unnecessary downtime by making sure critical service parts are in stock. These service parts are documented in WebCAPS on the Grundfos web-site www.grundfos.com.
A key element in obtaining mutually positive experiences is to clarify expectations. Grundfos has a strong logistics system, and service parts can be included as part of a service agreement or be ordered directly from Grundfos.
However, if reliability of your pump system is absolutely crucial or your pumps are customised, we strongly recommend that you at the point of sales also purchase what we call recommended service parts. These are service parts, we through experience, know are likely to need replacement within the first 2 and 5 years of operation respectively.
